Angel Ring in action
Angel Ring is Pit's Side Special Move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. During this move, Pit leans forward and rapidly twirls his bow, all the while yelling a battle cry. When he makes contact with a foe, the attack will hit multiple times and often trap the foe until they manage to escape by going the opposite direction. This move is quite fast, and can even reflect incoming projectiles in front of Pit. Pit is fully vulnerable to attacks and projectiles behind him, though. The Angel Ring can be extended indefinitely until Pit gets knocked out of it.
Since Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, Upperdash Arm has replaced Angel Ring as Pit's side special move.
