The Aurum Island (オーラム大陸 Ōramu Tairiku, "Aurum Continent") is a location that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Appearing in Chapter 15, it is one of the Aurum's bases.

Chapter 15: Mysterious Invaders[]
Early in the morning, Palutena rushes Pit out and tells him of the presence of a new, mysterious enemy. Dozens of floating islands have appeared and have begun projecting green beams onto the Overworld, ransacking the earth of random materials. As Pit observes this, a fleet of blocky enemies suddenly emerge from the islands and attack him.
When Pit flies in to get a closer look of the islands, Pyrrhon suddenly appears and shares his knowledge of the invaders. He informs everyone that they are known as the Aurum, and the passel of islands they see is only one of their bases. Pit and Pyrrhon then begin working together, the angel taking care of one side of the islands while the self-proclaimed Sun God takes care of the other.
Palutena sends Pit into the center of the Aurum Islands, where he must travel on foot to a tall tower. Along the way, he faces several obstacles and Aurum troops, but eventually makes it inside where he encounters the Aurum Core. Pit swiftly destroys it and the core explodes, causing several of the islands to begin falling out of the sky.

The Aurum travel with vast floating islands like this one. Similar to how bees gather pollen, the Aurum harvest material from worlds to create even more islands. This gives each island a strange, patchwork look.
