Biotas are Aurum troops from Kid Icarus: Uprising. They shoot balls to attack Pit, but Pit can hit them back using melee attacks, similar to a Collin and EelEye/Phil. However, unlike Collin and EelEye/Phil they can still take damage from regular attacks although they are resistant to it. They shoot green balls, which deal minimal damage to both Pit and the Biota, and red balls, which deal much more damage.

A Biota flings out floating green energy orbs to attack its enemies. These orbs are designed to withstand almost any attack, but it's possible to use this to you advantage. A melee strike can send them flying back at the Biota!
