Brawny Claws (ガニラス Ganirasu) are Underworld enemies that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Physical Appearance[]
The Brawny Claws is a large, purple monster that resembles a crab. It has two massive pincers, a gaping mouth, two brown, antennae-like appendages atop its head, and five legs. Its tan arms and mid-section—which are lined in red spikes—can extend significantly in order to obstruct incoming opponents.

Found exclusively in Air Battles, the Brawny Claws has no form of attacking, relying solely on obstructing the path of its foes. It will do so by extending its arms and mid-section, attempting to inflict damage on anything that runs into it.
Idol Description[]
Brawny Claws[]
An Underworld crustacean that blocks Pit's progress by extending its arms and legs. Its pincers stretch out to the side but can't extend up or forward. Still, for lazy little Brawny Claws, this technique comes in quite handy.
