Captain Flare is a cosmic, humanoid member of The Forces Of Nature in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Physical Description[]
Captain Flare is a pale-green colored, floating, muscular, superhero-like humanoid creature with a head resembling a star, with a single yellow eye, the trademark feature of almost all Forces Of Nature baddies, in the middle of it, and a wide smiling mouth underneath the eye. He wears a purple cape that has a galaxy inside of it. He also wears brown boots, brown cuffs, and a brown belt with a star-shaped buckle that resembles his head (minus his eye and mouth) on it. When surrounded by his cape, only his boots, eye, and the upper half of his head are visible.

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
Captain Flare first appears in Chapter 12: Wrath of the Reset bomb. It then appears in chapters 13 and 14 after its introduction. Later, copies of it created by Lord Dyntos to test Pit are seen in Chapter 24: The Three Trials. Unlike other enemies in the Forces of Nature, Captain Flare is a celestial being whose starry cape acts as a portal to another dimension, where it can hide for long periods of time. It can also use the cape as a weapon by launching meteors from this dimension as a projectile attack.

He's the man of mystery. He disappears without a trace. He's the amazing Captain Flare! He shoots comets from the space rift within his cape--the very same cape that contains the alternate universe Captain Flare likes to disappear into.
