Chomp Trap
The Chomp Trap is an item in Kid Icarus: Uprising that is only available in Together Mode. When deployed, it appears as a mere black spot on the ground. For this reason, it is recommended to place this item behind corners and in shaded or dark areas. Similar to a land mine, players are only effected after coming in contact with the trap, which lasts a temporary amount of time after being placed. When an unlucky victim steps onto the trap, they are sucked in and trapped for a considerable length of time, and damage is inflicted.

A mysterious pit trap that bends both time and space. Those who step on it find themselves in a dimension of pain, continuously taking damage. Chomp Traps are quite devious, which makes them very dangerous.
