Daybreak

The Daybreak is an item that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising, only available in Together Mode. It appears as a cannon-like weapon, which fires a gigantic beam capable of hitting multiple enemies at once. While its strength is immense, it is possible to survive a direct hit should the player equip a high-defense weapon or use certain powers.

Appearances[]

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]

A player must first collect its 3 pieces to assemble the item. In Light vs. Dark, the parts are shared between the members of a team. Whoever picks up the 3rd piece for their team will be the one to wield the Daybreak.

When a single part of the Daybreak spawns on the map, a message displaying "A Daybreak part has appeared!" will appear across the top screen. A smaller message reading "Daybreak is almost complete!" will appear in the bottom-left corner of the top screen when 2/3rds of its parts have been collected. When the weapon has been fully assembled, a message reading "Daybreak complete!" will appear across the top screen.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U[]

The Daybreak appears as an item that the player can collect on the battlefield, operating in the same fashion as it does for Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]

The Daybreak repeats its role from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U.

Trophy Information[]

A weapon of great and terrible power. The name Daybreak might sound pretty cheerful, but in truth this weapon is destructive enough to doom the world. Unable to be used until all three parts are assembled, it's best to keep this out of your opponent's hands...

Idol Description[]

The massive weapon is made of three parts that can fire a devastating shot when brought together. In Light vs. Dark, parts are shared by a team: whoever picks up the third part gets the Daybreak.
