Guttlers are enemies that come from the Underworld Army. They are infamous for their habit of devouring enemies and allies alike. They grow bigger and stronger with each bite. The Guttler appears to be a purple, slimy sphere with bug-like eyes. Its mouth takes up almost all of its insides and has circular patterns. On the top of its head is a small fountain of slime and tiny spheres that bounce off of the fountain. They first appear in Chapter 10 of Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Idol Description[]
This gluttonous monster gobbles up anything it can. Whether it eats friend or foe. Guttler grows stronger with each creature it consumes. Although this helps cut down on the number of enemies, is also gives Guttlers attacks a bigger bite!
Trivia[]
- Each time the Guttler eats, it changes its color and size. It also seems that the hues of its body become lighter.
- Guttlers may possibly be a grotesque parody of Kirby, as they share a similar body shape and both eat everything in their path.
- They may also be inspired by the Nagagogs from Super Smash Bros, as they change color and grow larger as the player fights them.
