Hot Springs are areas where Pit can slowly recover his health when he stands in one. These are particularly desired in Fortresses; not only are the enemy forces stronger, but the room can be re-entered at any point, making this location something to be remembered once discovered. A Hot Spring will only recover health; it does not cure Pit of the Eggplant Curse, which can only be cured by the Nurse at the Hospital does. If a Hot Spring is overused, the healing powers will fade.

Appearances[]
Hot Springs have appeared in all Kid Icarus games to date. They have also appeared in the anime Palutena's Revolting Dinner Part 2.
Kid Icarus[]
Hot springs first appeared in this adventure, resembling pools of glowing water that replenish Pit's health.
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters[]
In this adventure, a mysterious cloaked figure named Crow appears in unguarded Hot Spring chambers. At other times, these chambers may be guarded by Totems. Pit's health recovers much faster here.
Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
Hot Spring chambers return and share the same purpose as in previous games. Although, a tip showed that it is possible, though rare, that a Hot Spring chamber could lose its healing properties if overused.
Palutena's Revolting Dinner[]
In Part 2, back at the castle, Palutena is taking a bath in a hot spring and instructs Pit to gather the carrots, after she was caught in the kitchen explosion. This shows that the springs revives angels and gods.
Trivia[]
- In Chapter 4 of Kid Icarus: Uprising, there is a purple hot spring that will poison whoever steps in it. A reaper bathes in it, suggesting that it replenishes monsters' health.
