āThat is a Jitterthug. Ranged attacks are useless when his mask is green, and when it turns red, melee attacks won't work!ā |
Jitterthugs are troops in the Forces of Nature. These enemies make their debut in Chapter 11. Pit will have to alternate between ranged attacks and melee attacks depending on what color the Jitterthug is.
Physical Appearance[]
The Jitterthug is vaguely humanoid in appearance, with a two armed, two legged, one headed body covered in a moss-like growth, with twigs poking out of its arms and legs. When in melee mode, its moss covering turns red, and its head flips around to resemble a monster. When in ranged mode, its moss covering turns green, and its head flips back around to resemble an old man. It has red eyes, making it one of the only Forces Of Nature baddies to not have one or more yellow eyes.
Appearances[]
They are featured from Chapters 11 to 14. They are only featured in land battles. When the Jitterthug turns red, only ranged attacks affect it. In this state, it rampages around the stage and attacks Pit by ramming into him. This makes it difficult to keep far enough from the Jitterthug to use ranged attacks against it. When it turns green, only melee attacks affect it. When a Jitterthug is in this state, it stands still for the most part and attacks by shooting one to three fireballs at Pit. These fireballs make getting close enough for a melee attack difficult.
Idol Description[]
Depending on which way its mask is facing, Jitterthug looks like either an old man or a furious monster. Each of these "personas" has its own traits: the old man is unaffected by ranged shots, while the angry monster is immune to melee strikes.
