Nintendo is a company that manufactures video game consoles, such as the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U and produces many video game series, including Kid Icarus, Super Smash Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Pilot Wings, Super Mario Bros., Pokémon, Kirby, Star Fox, Fire Emblem, Nintendogs, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, F-Zero, EarthBound, ExciteBike, Animal Crossing, Wario Ware Inc., and a few other games.
Nintendo made it possible to play games, such as Kid Icarus: Uprising, in glasses-free 3D with the creation of the 3DS.
Unlike most gaming companies, Nintendo only makes games for its own platforms in favor of its long-term goals.
