Nukleens are airborne mines introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Nukleens are similar in behavior to Minos and Bumpety Bombs. They gently float toward their opponents and explode when they become close to them. Their explosions will inflict a burning status on Pit or any enemies that survive their large blast radius.
They appear in chapters 16, 17 and 24.
Characteristics[]
Nukleens gently float toward their opponents and charge into them. They grow upon receiving damage, and should they be defeated, will explode and send spikes flying into the air.

Idol Description[]
A Nuckleen is a mine that the Aurum often use to conquer planets. They explode when attacked, erupting in a wide range explosion that deals damage to friends and foes alike, so they can be used to Pit's advantage.
