Nutskis are enemies in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Characteristics[]
Nutskis resemble acorns with green wings that enable them to fly. They have a yellow eye in the center of their body like many other of Viridi's army. They are also made of natural materials, just like any other enemy from the Forces of Nature. It is also shown that Nutskis may be hollow, as they open up in two when they attack.
Appearances[]
Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
Nutskis are the first enemies from the Forces of Nature introduced in the game. Although easy to defeat, these enemies often appear in groups and can appear with many other enemies. Their attacks are also fast and come often, especially on higher intensities, so they can easily deplete Pit's health. They are effectively Viridi's equivalent of the Monoeye. They first appear in Chapter 11.
Since Nutskis are the foot-soldiers of Viridi's army, they wait around and do not attack at first. However, after some time, they will fly upside down, split open, and fire a projectile at Pit, much like Monoeyes and Miks. Of course, in Air Battles, they will go away after a while. Nutskis have low defense, so if there are many enemies, it would be wise to take out the Nutskis first to avoid any unnecessary firing.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[]
Nutskis are enemies in the Smash Run mode of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Nutskis fly in a quick, erratic pattern and attack by turning upside down and firing either a single big projectile or a barrage of smaller weak projectiles.
Idol description[]
A basic grunt in the Forces of Nature. It uses green leaves to fly, shooting whenever it turns itself upside down. Viridi created Nutski by removing a chestnut from its shell and blessing it with a miracle. Tastes great if you can get past its being sentient.
Trophy description[]
NTSC: A grunt in the Forces of Nature from Kid Icarus: Uprising. It was created by Viridi when she removed a chestnut from its shell and blessed it. In Smash Run, they move quickly and in difficult-to-predict ways. When fighters get close, they'll flip upside down and fire three seeds.
PAL: These great-tasting grunts from the Forces of Nature in Kid Icarus: Uprising came to life when they were blessed by Viridi. In Smash Run, they move quickly in a jittery, off-kilter way. Get close, and they'll turn upside-down and fire seeds at you. Occasionally those seeds will do a lot of extra damage, so watch out!
