Plutons (プルトン Puruton) are land-bound versions of Pluton Flies and are actually more difficult to dodge. Their erratic movements are hard to predict as they can jump high or low, fast or slow. This enemy is invincible and Pit must be careful to avoid contact, lest Pluton steal one of his weapons. Anything stolen by Pluton can be bought back at a Black Marketeer or earned again in a Sacred Training Chamber. Plutons are only encountered in the Overworld.
Sticky Talon fills in for Pluton in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.
Appearances[]
Kid Icarus[]
"A robbing ogre. Watch out! He's crafty. Touch him and he steals one of your possessions. Pit's arrows don't work against him. He's so stingy. He sells what he's stolen to the black marketeer."

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
Pluton returns as an enemy in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Though it seems to be skinnier compared to its previous appearances, it reprises its role as a thief by trying to steal any weapons Pit finds during the current chapter. They can be killed, but they take a lot of damage to defeat and are hard to hit due to their speed.
Idol Description[]
This thief steals items from its victims and tries to dash away before it gets caught. The Underworld Army is willing to overlook these crimes because of Pluton's fighting power--and because evil is sort of what the Underworld Army does.
Trivia[]
- Literally, a Pluton, or plutonic rock, is a geological term describing an intrusive igneous rock made of crystallized magma. It's more likely, however, that this creature was named after Pluto, the Roman god of the underworld (not that Underworld), known as Hades in Greek Mythology.
- Pluton appeared in one chapter of the comic book adaptation of Captain N: The Game Master.
