ReflectBarrier
Reflectbarrier

The Reflect Barrier is a power in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Appearances[]

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]

When used, a barrier is created in front of the user that reflects any shots from opponents. However, the user can still shoot through the barrier. The Reflect Barrier will not work against the attack from Daybreak in Together Mode.

Other appearances[]

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U[]

Palutena using Reflect Barrier in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Reflect Barrier is Palutena's default side special move. When used, Palutena raises her shield, causing a magic barrier to appear in front of her, and moves forward a short distance, pushing away any opponents on the opposite side and reflecting any projectiles that hit it; this also damages nearby opponents. The barrier does not follow Palutena's vertical position, remaining at the same position where she was when it was used. Like all reflectors, inflicting enough damage to the barrier shatters it, although the move can be reused immediately afterward.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]

Reflect Barrier was made a part of Palutena's down special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Here, Palutena executes Reflect Barrier when her down special move is used on a projectile, similarly to King K. Rool's Gut Check and Joker's Tetrakarn and Makarakarn.
