Shrips (ザキ Zaki) are Underworld enemies that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Physical Appearance[]
The Shrip is a small insectoid monster with a brown body, a green and orange exoskeleton, and yellow eyes. Its underwings are red, which match the markings on the large blade protruding from its head.

Appearing in both Air Battle and Land Battle, the Shrip's only strategy for attacking is spinning itself into foes.

Idol Description[]
Shrip[]
Beetles with sharp swords protruding from their heads. Able to unhinge their shoulder joints, Shrips fly through the air, spinning their bladed heads at high speed. Although fierce attackers, all that twirling gives Shrips terrible aim.

- The Shrip's English name may be a combination of the words "shred" and "rip."
- Its Japanese name, Zaki, could be derived from the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of something zipping by, "za," or the sound of cutting or stabbing something, "zakuzaku."
