Taklaxes are Aurum enemies introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Like most Aurum enemies, they unfold in order to attack. When folded, they are invincible and quite small but cannot attack. They attack by firing many shots continuously, similar to the Mega Mussel.

Taklaxes first appear in Chapter 15. After that, they appear in Chapters 16, 17 and 24.
Idol Description[]
Although they look a bit a like a tasty dessert, these Aurum enemies are neither sweet nor delicious. They unfurl like a butterfly and fire continuous shots. When not on the assault, Taklax are often assigned surveillance duties.
