Tribytes are Aurum enemies. They are basically the Aurum equivalent of the Monoeye or the Nutski (although the Aurum have made duplicates of Monoeyes). They are somewhat fast and mobile, but their attacks have low power. They have two ways of attacking. One way is that they shoot a normal ball of energy going directly at Pit. The other way is that they shoot a slower ball of energy that zig-zags instead of going straight, therefore being more unpredictable.
Physical Appearance[]
Tribytes are small flying triangular enemies that are black and white in color. They have constantly flashing sections of green on their bodies. As their name suggests, they split into three parts when attacking. When split, their constantly flashing green inner bodies are visible, along with their orange cores in the middle, where the projectiles they use to attack come out of. Like all Aurum enemies, they are mechanical and non-living.
Appearances[]
Tribytes are first encountered in Chapter 15. They also appear in Chapters 16 and 17. They later reappear in Chapter 21 as copies created by the Chaos Kin, and they make their final appearance in Chapter 24, this time as copies created by Lord Dyntos to test Pit.
Idol Description[]
The Aurum come from outer space, using a mysterious antigravity technology to keep their forces in the air. Tribytes, the Aurum's basic soldiers, take advantage of this high-tech science to fly in coordinated groups.
Trivia[]
- The backside of a Tribyte resembles the Triforce from The Legend of Zelda series.
