The Underworld Army (冥府軍 Meifu-gun, "Netherworld Army"), formerly known as Medusa's Army,[1] is one of the primary factions, as well as the main antagonists, of the Kid Icarus series. Ruled by Hades, they seek destruction in order to provide their leader with souls.
Hades supplies the army with troops by converting souls into fearsome, demonic monsters; any souls that are not used for this purpose are reincarnated, consumed, or they simply fade away.

- Hades: The true ruler of the Underworld and leader of the army.
- Medusa: The Goddess of Darkness and leader of the army in the original Kid Icarus. She serves as a puppet to Hades upon her revival in Uprising.
- Amazon Pandora: Pandora used the power of the Rewind Spring to restore herself to her true form as Amazon Pandora.
- Thanatos: The God of Death, he is Medusa's second-in-command, as well as one of the commanders of the army. He was known as Tanatos in the original Kid Icarus.
- Pandora: The Goddess of Calamity, she serves as one of the army's commanders.
- Hewdraw: A three-headed serpent monster, Hewdraw is one of the commanders of the army.
- Dark Lord Gaol: A general of the army, she is a human who was forced to don cursed armor.
- Twinbellows: A large dog with two heads, Twinbellows serves as the Underworld's watchdog.
